Exquisite Faux Effects, formerly known as Amy's
Custom Interiors, is based in Scio, Oregon. We have done
residential and commercial work all over western Oregon, and
have many satisfied customers in this area.
The owner of Exquisite Faux Effects, Amy Murphy,
has been the sole proprietor of the business for over 3
years. During this time she has done extensive research on
faux finishing techniques, and is highly regarded as a local
authority on the subject. She maintains this artistic
expertise by continuous training and following the latest innovative
trends.
In early 2007, Amy traveled to Italy to spend 3
intensive weeks of training. Four Italian master painters
shared their years of experience with her in the areas of
decorative painting from the 15th century Renaissance period,
authentic marbling, and
Italian style murals.
Exquisite Faux Effects participates every year
in the "Tour of Homes" show, and has received the
"Best Special Effects" award in 2005, and shared in the "Best of Show"
award in 2007. Our work was also seen in a recent episode
of ABC's "Extreme Makeover" show.
